We, at Denali Innovations, hope that you, loved ones, and your businesses are safe and healthy during these unprecedented times. Based in Southern California, we recognize our vital position in the product supply chain as a manufacturer of packaging solutions for the cannabis industry. As California’s essential vs non-essential business mandate was issued in early-March, we evaluated our manufacturing facilities and implemented precautionary operational adjustments in order to continue delivering for our customers. Below are some of the operational steps we have taken.
1. Mixed Model, In-Office/Remote
Denali identified all essential functions from accounting and manufacturing, to logistics and customer service, strategically creating an in-office and remote model to limit personnel exposure.
2. Symptoms Testing
With fever being a symptom of COVID19, without exception, all employees are required to have their body temperature checked daily upon arrival to work.
3. Operational Distancing
As a manufacturer, machinery and production lines have been strategically rearranged in order for each production engineer to be at least six-feet apart to adhere to the CDC issued guidelines.
4. Personal Protective Equipment
All employees are issued one surgical mask per day to be worn while at work, as well as being provided one refillable bottle of alcohol disinfectant spray to constantly sanitize their work area.
5. Awareness Training
All employees undergo awareness training to understand risks associated with the pandemic, in addition to proper techniques of washing hands, wearing face masks, and sanitizing surfaces.
6. No Visitor Policy
In order to control the environment, Denali does not allow any outside guest visitors under their new operational structure, whether it be customer press checks, brand meetings or family guests.
We will continue to monitor the situation, the market, and follow CDC guidelines as they develop. By valuing the safety and well being of our employees, we are able to efficiently and effectively operate in order to support our industry. We look forward to continue supporting your needs , and welcome any questions, feedback, and comments.
Please be safe.
